We are excited to share some important information with you regarding your child's football journey. As parents, we all want what's best for our children, and that includes ensuring they have opportunities to grow, develop, and thrive in their chosen sport. That's why we have joined the Northeast Junior High Football League (JHL) and why we believe it's a superior choice over other leagues like the American Youth Football (AYF).

At JHL, our focus is not just on wins and losses, but on the holistic development of each player. We understand that every child is unique, with different skill levels and abilities, and that's why we've implemented a Junior Varsity/Varsity format that meets players where they are while continuously challenging them to improve.

One of the key differences between JHL and AYF is our approach to game time. While AYF limits athletes to just a handful of plays in a two-hour game, JHL provides a full game experience for all players. This means your child will have more opportunities to get on the field, gain confidence, and further develop their skills by competing against others of similar caliber.

Moreover, in AYF, under-skilled athletes may struggle to get the support and recognition they need to earn more playing time. In contrast, JHL prioritizes inclusivity and growth by allowing players to move between Junior Varsity and Varsity games weekly, and even play both games if deemed appropriate by the coach. This ensures that every player has the chance to shine and contribute to their team's success.

This football helmet features a Flex System that is designed to reduce the amount of force transferred to the player's head. With the Flexliner, the interior of this youth football helmet conforms to the player's head offering a comfortable and stable feel. For easy access to the athlete, the All-Points Quick ReleaseTM allows the face mask to disengage with a press of the button. The same helmets are used by the NFL.
