MEET OUR COACHES

Nashua PAL Force is fortunate to have dedicated, safety certified coaches who put the needs of their athletes and their team above all else. Our coaches provide a fun, safe and competitive environment to allow your athletes to grow and develop in their sport.

Ben Desfosses

Coach Ben has been a coach with Nashua PAL Force since 2017. During his tenure with NPF he coached Flag Football for two years and continued on to 8u Tackle Football. Under Coach Ben's leadership he led his team to an undefeated season and was the first NPF team to win the 8u Super Bowl! Coach Ben's teams have made the playoffs every year they have played. He is dedicated to player safety, player development, and the importance of being part of a team. 

Coach Ben was recognized by the community when he was awarded the 2022 Nashua PAL Coach of the Year.

FOOTBALL 10U HEAD COACH

JONAH SIMMONS
 
Coach Jonah is a returning NPF coach and we are excited to have him in this role! Coach Jonah has played football and was an assistant coach for several years. He has a great understanding of the game and is excellent with our athletes. He is looking forward to teaching his team the fundamentals of the sport and how to create the best team environment. 

FOOTBALL 8U HEAD COACH

SERG FILONOW
 
Coach Serg's reputation speaks for itself. As a long time successful coach with both the Nashua Elks Crusaders (before the programs expanded to include Nashua PAL Force), and Nashua PAL Force, Coach Serg is well known for his knowledge and love of the game and for passing that love and knowledge to his athletes.  As Head Coach for Force, he coached two teams very successfully from 8U up (both teams were State Champions for more than one season), he was a Board Member, and he was also named Nashua PAL's Coach of the Year in 2014.
He will use his wealth of knowledge and experience to teach our 8U athletes the fundamentals of football which will enable their success throughout their football experience.

CHEER DIVISION 14 HEAD COACH

BAILEY STEVENS
 
Coach Bailey has been coaching with NPF since 2019 and has recently joined the Nashua PAL Force board as Assistant Spirit Coordinator. Coach Bailey was assistant coach to three teams that qualified for and competed at AYC Nationals. This is her first time in the head coach position at NPF and she is looking forward to helping the Division 14 team reach their full potential to prepare them for their middle school and high school teams. 

CHEER DIVISION 12 HEAD COACH

EMILY HAMILTON
 
Coach Emily began cheering with NPF in 2007 as a Tiny Mite cheerleader. She cheered for NPF until she aged out at 14 years old, participating on many National qualifying teams. She continued to cheer for high school while volunteering her time as a student demonstrator with Nashua PAL Force. Upon graduating, Emily continued as an assistant coach until becoming head coach for Division 10 in 2022. Under Coach Emily's leadership, the NPF Div10 team were NHYFSC State Champions. She is looking forward to working with the same group of athletes (and including new athletes) in 2023. 

CHEER DIVISION 10 HEAD COACH

JENNIFER MURRAY
 
Coach Jen has been coaching with NPF since 2021. She began as a Tiny Mite assistant coach and became head coach of Division 8 in 2022. She is excited to be with the same group of athletes (and any new ones) in 2023. Coach Jen believes in teaching her team with patience  and ensuring that her athletes know and understand the fundamentals of cheer in the safest way possible. Coach Jen was also awarded NHYFSC's Coach of the Year in 2022!

DIVISION 8 HEAD COACH

KATIE CHURCHILL
 
Coach Katie is returning as head coach with the Division 8 team in 2023! Coach Katie has eleven years of cheer experience and brings her drive and dedication to our youngest team. Under Coach Katie's direction, her Tiny Mite team received a lot of recognition for their abilities and routine during the 2022 season. She is excited to continue to work with her team in 2023!
